Introducing: A new blog!

What to do when you want to post really random stuff? Join Tumblr. Seriously.

And that’s exactly what I did. See my page: Jefflion Randomness

I was completely unaware of Tumblr until a few days ago. Another bogging platform? No thanks.

But then again, I realized it is a handy little thing if you wish to post small, random things that simply do not fit into your main website. Random pictures, or short news you found somewhere. So I took it as a cross between regular blogging and Twitter.

The best thing about Tumblr is the fact you can reblog anything you like without much effort. Needless to say, I tried it and it’s useful for collecting interesting stuff all over the place.

I don’t really have a plan for that blog/website/account. All I want is to post quick, interesting and RANDOM stuff that don’t really fit in here- but are too “big” for Twitter. Sort of things that would fit my “Trash” section here- which brings me to question: what to do about it? Any ideas?

If you are a member, feel free to add me. Expect WTF content, stuff about archaeology and astronomy, animals, and posts about my favourite actors, musicians and movies.

This sounds interesting. Maybe I’ll make an account. Another one to my list. My bf says I’m addicted to any relationships website. lol

Indeed we’ve been blogging about the same bubjects at the same time! The cliché thing to say is: great minds think alike.

I don’t know where to look to see how many hits I have had. I used to have a kind of counter in my old cheesy cute blogs but now I don’t know how to put it. lol

Oooooh, get an account! Then we could follow each other and post random stuff all over the place :D

I really don’t know about Blogger. I don’t know how it handles hits and stats. I use WordPress and it has a pretty nice stats system, that tells you not just number of hits, but also what posts/pages are the most popular and what searches made them find your website. Basically, WordPress rulez.

I dont have a blog, but I’m thinking on starting one. Too much work, thought and i’m not sure if I have the time.

I checked your tumblr blog, it’s nice. omg, is that really Gary Oldman??? he doesn’t look like himself!

I’ve heard good things about Tumblr, but the one thing that annoys me so incredibly much is the name. I hate pronouncing it! It’s as if I I’m about to bite my tongue off after the ‘-blr’.

I like the thought of having a tumblelog. Heck, that’s what I’ve been trying to do with my website.

I don’t like the idea of Tumblr. I tried the site but i got so tired of it. it’s not a real blog, you can’t even comment properly! Reblogging is cool, but thats all. I am not sure if you should waste your time on it, guys.

Yes, that is Gary Oldman as Jackie Flannery, in the movie “State of Grace”. The movie sucks a bit, but he’s amazing. Arguably, his best- or one of his best- performances. And speaking of Gary, it means a lot.

My gravatar is a pic of Gary as Jackie Flannery.

I can see you joined. I added you! Well, that’s it, really. Now all you have to do is to find random junk… I mean, interesting stuff to add. Music videos and images of hot men are always a good choice ;)

To be honest, I didn’t really think about the name. It is difficult to remember, that’s for sure. Do you have an account over there?

It is pointless, yes. Commenting is a pain in the ass, yes. But it’s a nice thing to have a place for all the random crap you wish to post. Stuff that don’t belong to your main blog. That’s what I was trying to do with my “Trash” section, but I neglected it.

Your tumblr blog is, indeed, random! One can tell youre into Pearl Jam, astronomy and Jeff Bridges.
