I’m 29. Happy birthday to me!

meHappy birthday to me! I’m 29! So, do I feel old? Not quite. I do notice my hair is getting gray, but that started more than 10 years ago.

Mentally? I don’t feel old. Is 29 old, anyway? Some say late 20s and early 30s are the times when women become either mature, responsible individuals, or completely spoiled bitches (a la “Sex and the City”). I still feel like a child, but uh, child with responsibilities, bills and real stuff that require maturity. But in so many ways, I do feel like a kid- and yes, like a kid, not even a teenager.

Thanks for being here and reading my rants. :P

Have fun!

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

    I think that the more we feel like kids, the more mature we are. I’m glad to know that you’re feeling this way.

    I hope you had a great day.

    Kisses & Hugs

    HEPPY BURFDAI FROM THE STATES!!!

    (and many more on channel 4, with scooby doo on channel 2…)

    p.s. judging from your picture, you look pretty young. so i’d say you’ve nothing to worry about for the next ten years or so, at least ; )

    p.p.s. more blog posts! too much laziness in the blogosphere these days for my liking =P

    Happy birthday Mira!

    With the longevity of mankind increasing I think adulthood sets in later in life. That said, there are always bills to pay:)

    I hope you’ll have a nice celebration and a lovely day.

    Nice picture, btw.

    could be, could be. There’s something about it (except the fact that really old people tend to act like children).

    @islandgirl

    Thank you and welcome to my site! Glad to see you here! :)

    @zek j evets

    Thanks! lol

    I’d like to blog more often but I don’t have enough time for it. Sex and women was such a popular post, btw, I have to think of something equally amazing to entertain my readers! :P

    BTW, I found your Facebook. Is it ok to add you as a friend? (this goes for everybody here: if you have a facebook account, would you like to be friends out there?)

    @Sigg3

    Thanks!

    True, but there’s still a little thing called female biological clock.

    @Y

    Thanks, Y! I always looked younger, but I hated that when I was 16-17 (and looked 13), for the obvious reasons, lol.

    I think it’s difficult to find me out there because I’m not listed under my jefflion email address. Also, I am violating FB policies because I don’t use my full name and I don’t use my last name. I don’t feel comfortable (while I don’t have a problem displaying my pictures!)

    Anyway, I added you.

    Mira,

    I just wanted to say that the Happy Birthday from Zek came from both of us (he was too lazy to add my name :-P), and feel free to add me on Facebook (if I don’t go to his profile and add you first :-P).

    Happy Belated Birthday! :)

    islandgirl,

    “You don’t look a day over 19!”

    I was going to say she doesn’t look a day over 14!

    Thanks, Natasha! And sorry for my late reply.

    Well, I wouldn’t go that far (I have a curvy body so I don’t look like a kid)… But people do think I’m a minor sometimes, and I guess dressing like a tomboy instead of a woman in her late 20s also make people see me that way.

    Thank you and sorry for my late reply!

    Natasha,
    True about the curves. I had them when I was 14- but the thing is, most of the (white) girls don’t. So it’s something that confuses people.

    Thanks for the compliment! But no, he doesn’t have to fight off other men. I am not really considered attractive, so men leave me alone.
