Contrary to the popular belief, my name is not Jeff. And (surprise, surprise) I am not a lion. My name is Mira, a 28 year old (young) woman & (old) student. I was born on June 1st 1981. Nothing special about that day, except that it was a day before my mother’s birthday. I live in Belgrade, Serbia. Belgrade (Beograd, actually) is a beautiful European city, but I would love to live near the sea. I’m married.

I am shy and introvert around people and a bit antisocial. That’s not something I’m proud of. Often, I prefer company of animals to human company (except few people that I really love). To be surrounded by many people is not my idea of fun. It’s much easier for me to express my opinion when writing. I wrote my first novel when I was 12. My English sucks so I can’t show you my writing here. I do not consider myself an artist, I’m just somebody who enjoys planning and writing novels with interesting plots. It’s more of a mind-game for me than an artistic experience.

I’m a student of archaeology. Archaeology is wonderful and exciting, but it has nothing to do with Indiana Jones, except one thing: we do wear hats when working on a field. Archaeology is not all about pyramids and it’s not a treasure hunt- it’s simply discovering a past through material remains. Archaeology doesn’t have to deal with the ancient times, it can cover any time period since people always leave material remains which archaeologists can find and interpret. An archaeologist must know how to “read” a material remain (an artifact, a castle or even a grave) and base on that explain how people lived in the past. It’s not as easy as it sounds.

I walk barefoot wherever I can, and I can pick up things with my toes. I’m short. I wear glasses. I use bad words a lot. I love astronomy. I own hamsters. I often say shocking things so people could leave me alone. I do not support any political system, including anarchy (the lack of a system is a system as well). I believe religion is a good thing, as long as it’s not corrupted by people. I often consider myself a worse person than I actually am. I look younger. I don’t visit hairdressers. I love stupid & absurd jokes.
